The Book of Proverbs as a sapiential book of the Bible teaches us the importance of living wisely, because with wisdom there is the most perfect and excellent; with the wisdom is the common sense, the assertiveness (precision and accuracy) in decisions, the faculty empathy, and the compassion towards others. That is why the Sacred Scriptures teach us: "Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold" Proverbs 3:13-14.
And the Bible also explains to men something very important that is observed in this sacred book throughout its development, with wisdom there is immortality and glory ( the fame of God), and with foolishness there is ignominy and shame: "The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame" Proverbs 3:35.
But there is also more, in the wise man is the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion) and the tenderness of heart, but in the fool is mistrust and hardness of heart; that is why the wise men bring with them the happiness and the order of things, but with the foolish there is only suffering. The wise are remembered to inspire others for all the good and beautiful things they leave behind, but the foolish remain as a warning for their errors and contradictions.
And we see this in many stories in the Bible, for example when Moses faced Pharaoh. The Pharaoh for the hardness of his heart only left pain, infamy, and destruction, but Moses for his wisdom was remembered as the liberator of a people. The opposition between foolishness and wisdom is eternal, and the fame of the most magnanimous men such as Moses, David, and Solomon is in the Bible as a reminder to lead men in the ways of God.
