The crypto exchange, which is backed by Peter Thiel and Coinbase, stopped trading in July after an apparent run on its assets. Singapore crypto exchange Vold Group is seeking a moratorium on its creditors - a move that would give the troubled lender more time to restructure its business after asset prices hit its operations earlier this month.
Vold filed a petition in Singapore on July 8 seeking a stay order, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday. If granted, the stay would give the distressed debtor more time to find a proper restructuring plan.
