The fact of a horse-drawn statue

Surely you've seen a statue of a figure in an area riding a horse ?.
If ever if you notice that every statue has its own style especially there is a difference at the foot of the horse.
Here are the dependent meanings of each style.

A horse-drawn statue with its front legs raised upwards indicates that the man who rode him died in battle.

If his front legs are only one lifted up that the person who rides him dies in battle.

If one's feet are not lifted then the person who rides it dies because of ordinary things like illness.
That is the mystery and facts about the statue of the horseman.

i like horse

This is an assertion of an urban legend. A post that proved the assertion would definitely get an upvote. I for one would be interested in knowing if it's true, and what mechanism created such a code. Is it just an American thing, or is this world wide, and throughout history?
