I own 3 Clydesdale horses here in Arizona, one is over 19 hands high (Over 6ft at the whithers) and he is still growing! The other two are 18 hands high. What do I do with them? I ride them under saddle! FYI the average weight of a typical horse is about 1100 lbs, two of my three are close to 2400lbs and growing. Many people didn't realize that there are fewer than 5000 Clydes left in the entire world, sad to know that these gentle giants may one day perish. Id love to be able to make people aware of their status as well as share pictures of them.
