Hello again, it's me Cassidy from my last story about softball if you haven't read it you should read it. I will link the story for you!
Today I want to talk about horses because they are incredible, calm, nice and cute! I've watched so many horse movies or even shows (Heartland, free Rein, Storm Rider, A Horse for the Summer, Pepper and Paula) and I know they are a lot of work. For example you have to feed them, brush them, give them a bath, clean it's stall. That's just half of it. To be a good rider you need to trust your horse and the horse has to trust you. If the horse doesn't trust you, you will have trouble riding the horse and you have to bond with your horse so it makes a stronger connection to you and your horse. When you pick out a horse it may be hard because you have to find the perfect horse that you can wish for. Kinda like a horse that you can wish for. Kinda like a horse that you dreamed of...
One of the main things I want to do on a horse is to be a trick rider.
"Trick riding refers to the act of performing stunts while riding a horse, such as the rider standing upright on a galloping horse. Other stunts might include hanging upside down off of the side of the horse while attached to a strap or jumping on and off a galloping horse."

I want to be a trick rider because of the feeling and connection with the horse. Most people say that they feel free and feel like they are flying. I want to have that same connection like in the movies or shows. You should watch one of of theis or more if you like horses: Heartland, free Rein, Storm Rider, A Horse for the Summer, Pepper and Paula. They are on netflix.
But the thing is I play softball and it always gets in the way because sometimes I may not get to see the horse and it may change the connection with me and the horse maybe when I get older after college and after softball I want to own a horse and I may be a trick rider or I may not, it depends how I feel about it when I get older.
Somethings you need to know to be a trick rider:
- You need a special saddle.
- Most trick rider horses go counterclockwise.
- Sometimes they refuse to go the other way.
Here is a photo of a trick rider:

Sorry I couldn't find a trick rider saddle below but you can see it in the photo above were the person is standing up. The difference between a saddle and a trick rider saddle is that a trick rider saddle has special foot holds so you don't fly off and on the original saddle doesn't have them.
Here take a look for yourself, do you see any difference?

I hope you enjoyed my story and blog and hopefully inspires someone else.
Tell next time...
Toodles!
