What is a server?

in hosting •  7 years ago
A server, is a computer, a computer, which is responsible for storing and providing information to their customers, in short the servers are computers with a lot of capacity, which store our information, but information that is only able to access through other computers , they are just called servers, because they tend to be at the services of computers, the servers must and must always be turned on, when servers are damaged that information disappears, so it is always good to have backup servers for our customers, and thus avoid an information catastrophe.

There are many types of servers among them the most used are;
Web servers; are those that store the data of web pages.
Print servers; are those that serve a network of computers, and customers, and queue the print job.
