Dubai is the hot spot for luxury living, and it’s only getting hotter. Currently on the market in the residential sector are Giorgio Armani and Versace brand properties. Now the Italian luxury powerhouse Bulgari is entering the game. The Bulgari Resort and Residences is being developed on Jumeirah Bay Island. On Monday, the Dubai master developer Meraas announced the launch of the residential said and said sales will open shortly.
This line of super-luxury residences will be available only for the most affluent, as prices are sure to be steep. Bulgari’s Executive Vice President, Silvio Ursini, told Emirates 24|7,
“We don’t disclose prices… we have two penthouses in London and five mansion in Bali, and they are priced at very top end of market. Here as well we will price it at the top end of the market.”
The residences are comprised of 165 luxury apartments, eight opulent penthouses, and 15 extravagant mansions. The apartments, scattered throughout six elegant buildings, come with up to four bedrooms. Each unit is spacious and designed with the highest caliber components.
The mansions, sprawled out across the beautiful island, have three, or up to six, elite bedrooms. Each have direct access to the large marina. All homeowners on the island will be
admitted to the Bulgari Yacht Club, and exclusive arena on the water.
Don’t fret, luxury travelers will soon be able to enjoy the Bulgari Resort Dubai. Fifth of it’s kind in the world, the resort was announced in May 2014 by Meraas. The resort will be made up of 101 lavish suites and 20 astounding villas. The promenade will feature six gourmet themed restaurants.
The Bulgari Resort and Residences is scheduled to be finished early 2018. The designer is none other than Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners. The Italian architectural firm recently designed the interior of Qatar Airways Premium Passenger Lounges and the Princi Bakery in Milan. Cherif Honsy, Chief Hospitality Officer of Meraas, said,
“We have a man-made island that is attracting a lot of attraction and we are targeting the niche market, for now. Demand for prime property will continue to rise and as the market matures, expectations will rise for qualitative detail-focused and refined finished products.”
Jumeirah Bay Island is an exotic island engineered for luxury in paradise. It is only accessible via private bridge connected to Jumeirah, a coastal residential area of Dubai, whose name translates to “beautiful”.
