The smallest city in Bulgaria

The smallest city in Bulgaria - Melnik. There live only 325 people. This is a city museum. The city was founded in 864. In Melnik make a good wine. In the Middle Ages the city was ruled by the Byzantine Michael Paleologus.
Melnik is located 170 kilometers from Sofia.

    Seems like a cool little town. I would love to be able to visit small towns like this all over Europe one day.
