This is the first ever Hot Toys Star Wars figure released! And they are making a statement with it!!
This box set comes with 2 figures, one regular & one battle damaged, plus 2 stand bases & a diorama stand.
Both figures' head sculpts are movie accurate with PER system (Parallel eyeball rolling system), which can create sort of a different look for him. However, it may require sometime to move it the way you wanted, cause the joy stick may get stuck and will get difficult to move the eyeball.
The Bespin outfit costume is fantastic. It fits very well with the figure. The costume included a tank-top shirt with a khaki jacket, and khaki pants. The boots are made of soft suede-like fabric, which give flexibility for the foot movement.
Articulation of this figure is excellent! Luke can do the kneeling pose easily!
The figure comes with the interchangeable magnetic severed palm stump, and an auto-tourniquet. The palm stump is pretty tricky to change, it needs to disconnect the forearm. But the forearm is lock-in very tight on mine, just feels like it is going to break, so I better don't risk it. On the other hand, the auto-tourniquet is very easy to install by just cover it on top of the forearm.
Lightsaber is a MUST for the Jedi characters in Star Wars!
Another weaponry is the blaster pistol!
The Weathervane diorama stand is huge, it is triple the height of Luke. There are some assembling required, but is very easy. It has an option to hang the Weathervane onto the wall or ceiling as well. The poles are made out of diecast, so it is very sturdy. Luke can climb, stand, and do other poses on the Weathervane with no problem.
There is lighting feature in the Weathervane, and I shall end this article with the photos of Luke on the Christmas light Weathervane. Enjoy!
