Time to get the house in order.

So, I am in a bit of a rut. Caught a bad cold on Christmas day, which a month later, after a visit to Urgent Care, had developed into pneumonia, and then spent another month getting over that. Then I tripped and fell, which resulted in severe back pain for about three weeks, and now I am finally over that!

I have no more excuses to not clean my house!

When I was working, I was fastidious about keeping everything clean and perfect. Give a busy person a job to do! I've become pretty lax over the past few years, not nearly as fastidious, and in fact, nowadays, rarely does anyone enter my house. Back in the day, there were always festivities and people in and out and I held a certain pride about it all.

But, my dog is in his shedding phase, and round about now, I could probably weave a wolf rug out of all the dog hair everywhere. And, especially in the evenings, I get sneezing fits. Wonder why?

So, as a former neatnik, my abode is pretty messed up. I mean, there is no dog poop on the floors, nor is my sink full of dirty dishes. My counter tops are still mostly not in total disarray, although my bathroom is pretty disgusting, but it's all relative.

Because of my inability to be physically active for about three months now, I have probably spent way too much time online and engrossed in considering the disastrous calamity that befalls us all, that I have forgotten that the first step is to get my own house in order.
