This is a bit confusingly shown, but in reality one of the districts in each state here will likely be sorted to solid D and one to solid R in the new maps, so the Alabama ruling could net Democrats at least 2 new seats in Congress.
Combine this with New York's eventual new map, Dems might be coming into 2024 with a solid chance to retake the House. Holding the Senate will be harder as the 2024 Senate map is brutal. I think that will require some strong tailwinds from the top of the ballot to pull off (which with the Trump indictments may just happen)
