So I had no idea that buying a house would be so frustrating ! So many factors play into getting started & getting a good interest rate. Having good credit is probably one most important things, it makes a big difference ! Your credit score determines how good of an interest rate you get on your loan. Also having assets to show your lender you have a solid foundation makes a difference aswell. This process is totally new to me. At this point we have put bids in on 3 houses & all have fell through. The frustrating part is that you have no idea what the other people's bid is so your really flying blind.
