New Jersey woman wants to change locks because landlord is inviting random people to view apartment without notice or screening.

Woman is terrified to upset landlord because she won't be able to ever get another apartment in New Jersey if landlord gives her a bad reputation.

New Jersey has the strictest "tenant protection" laws in the USA - but this means that landlords are terrified of tenants and won't rent to anyone with an imperfect record.

Meanwhile, a California homeowner has roommate who hasn't paid rent in over a year and blasts music until 3 AM. His own home is unlivable but because of the eviction moratorium, there's nothing he can legally do.

I've literally seen people post: "landlords don't do anything, they shouldn't make money off of people who just want a place to live." I can't believe the lack of economic understanding some people have.
