The eviction crisis is starting to look a lot like the subprime mortgage crisis

Not all evictions are created equal.

There is a disturbing trend going on in housing that is looking a lot like it did a decade plus ago.

Some landlords are becoming serial evictors, using the threat of eviction as a means to collect additional incomes. This is similar to how banks charge for overdraft fees.

The problem is this hits the poor and minorities at a disproportionate rate. This is causing some studies to really express the danger in this.
