I dropped my granddaughter off at a local community center. She and some classmates are volunteering time to Hurricane Harvey clean up efforts. I went with a friend to Houston Chinatown for lunch. I had a simple but delicious meal of beef and scallions. I have, and will, continue to be involved in clean up efforts but it is nice to enjoy a return to normalcy.
