HOW TO ALIGN AND FLOAT IMAGES IN STEEMIT

in how •  7 years ago

This is a short tutorial showing you how to position your images either left of right and inline with your text in Steemit articles. The absolute worst editor of any site I've ever used. If you switch between "Mark Down" source code mode and the normal mode you lose all your code. This thing is just garbage. Why can't they take a clue from WordPress? . . .or is it supposed to be cool and hip to have a clunky editor that doesn't have an align image, or resizing feature built in?

When I was brand new to Steemit, I didn't notice it either. Look below the text box though for the sentence that ends with "selecting them." That is a built in way to upload your images, so you do not have to use a third party site.
Are there pre-determined css classes built into steemit? Also can you write non-inline css in a post (in the head of the document)?
