Howto Create Secure Bitcoin Paper Wallets

For those that are interested, I just completed a video detailing how to create secure offline bitcoin paper wallets. The first step requires downloading, verifying and creating a bootable live linux distro that you can then run on any PC or laptop. This allows you to create paper wallets securely on any PC since the linux distro runs in memory and is never installed to the local hard drive. Each time you boot this linux distro, you can be almost 100% positive that your paper wallets and bitcoin will be safe.

The second step is to download the the open source client-side javascript bitcoin wallet generator from bitaddress.org and verify that it is authentic. After verification you simply copy the 'bitaddress.org.html' to a USB thumb drive and shutdown Ubuntu.

Third step, you must guarantee that your PC/laptop is not and cannot connect to any network and boot Ubuntu again. Stick in your USB thumb drive, launch 'bitaddress.org.html' using firefox and generate your paper wallets.

Viola! Cold storage paper wallets to keep your bitcoin safe and prepared for the UASF soft-fork this August. No need for a hardware wallet and you can make as many copies of your cold storage as needed for added safety.

Thanks. I happen to love my paper wallets. Just trusting a single hardware wallet isn't my cup of tea and the $100 I save allows me to purchase more bitcoin. :)
