How to Parents Control Kids Activity on Smartphone Remotely, Raising Security Concerns

The Family Link app dropped last year and gave kids younger than 13 the ability to have their own Google accounts that parents can access. The app is now expanding its features to teens. Family Link lets parents, through the companion app, approve or block apps downloaded in the Play Store and locate their kids.
