Making a heart shaped valentines day boxsteemCreated with Sketch.

in howto •  8 years ago

Today we decided to make some Valentine day decorations and a heart shaped box seems like a good idea.

Here is my daughter holding the finished product.

And this is a closer up picture of the heart shaped box

Materials are the following

Eva Foam ( Ethylene Vinyl Acetate )

Cardboard

Silicone

Glue Gun

Pencil, ruler and Scissors

First draw a heart shaped piece out of cardboard then cut it out make sure you make an additional one for the cover.

Carefully glue together all the pieces of cardboard to make the sides of the box which are to be attached.

Mark the Eva foam with marker and cut out for covering the heart shaped pieces of cardboard

Wishing everybody a happy valentines day a week early
