How To Convert Steem/SBD To INR And Withdraw It To Your Bank Account.

in howto •  7 years ago  (edited)

Previously, I shared a post on How To Convert Steem/SBD To INR And Withdraw In Bank Account using Poloniex and Zebpay.

As you might know that Poloniex has been facing some problems lately and some users complained about their funds being stuck there.

So I decided to make a new post with my favorite decentralized exchange Blocktrades (hey, @blocktrades).

A decentralized exchange is an exchange market that does not rely on a third party service to hold the customer's funds. Instead, trades occur directly between users (peer to peer) through an automated process.

Cryptocompare

Features of using Blocktrades

  • No account needed.
  • It doesn't hold your funds, so you won't be at risk of losing money.
  • Instantaneous exchange between multiple cryptocurrencies.

Things Required

  • A verified Zebpay account.
  • Some Steem/SBD in your account.

Zebpay For Android | Zebpay For IoS

Install it and register - use this code to get free tea : REF39814814

Now, open menu from top right corner >> verification >> verify your PAN card, Bank account and Address.

Once your account get approved, proceed further.

Converting SBD(Steem Dollars) To Bitcoin

  • Head to Blocktrades.us
  • Select SBD (Steem Dollar) to Bitcoin pair.
  • Enter the amount of SBD you want to trade, the more the better rate but don't cross the suggested deposit limit.
  • In receiving address, put your Zebpay Address.

To get your Zebpay Address:

Copy the address by long press.

After filling all details, click on blue button saying "Get Deposit Address".

Now, you will get deposit details.

Now, Head to your Steemit account and make transfer to deposit details you got above.

Click on down arrow near Steem Dollars and click on Transfer.

After making a transfer you will see your transaction on Blocktrades.

After sufficient confirmations on Bitcoin network, you will receive Bitcoins in your Zebpay account.

Converting Steem To Bitcoin

Just select Steem instead of SBD in the process.

Converting Bitcoins To INR

Once you receive Bitcoins in your Zebpay account. You have to sell them first before you can withdraw.

To do so, select "Sell" on homepage. On next screen select the amount to sell or you can click on "Sell all" to sell all available Bitcoins.

Now to withdraw, click on "withdraw" on homepage, on next screen enter amount you want to withdraw and click on "withdraw".

That's it, you will receive amount in your bank account within a day (unless it's Sunday!).

I have tried to make this guide as newbie friendly as possible, but as the saying goes:

There is always room for more.

Is there any hope of getting

Yup, you will get as soon as transaction gets confirmed.

Btw, from now on use LTC, zebpay now supports litecoin. It's transaction confirmations are faster than bitcoin.
