How to clean rust from tools quickly

Hello Steemians, in case you're similar to me you may be somewhat cumbersome with your instruments. For my situation I forgot a couple of sets of pruners and it drizzled (which is uncommon in San Diego). They rusted. I was mooched. They were Felco F-2's which are quite decent, so I set out to make sense of how to de-rust them.

This strategy should work for any metal instrument however, not simply pruners!

What You'll Need

Corroded instruments

White refined vinegar

Old bricklayer jug or holder

Scour cushions

Some sort of grease or rust insurance oil

Step 1 - Soak Your Tools in Vinegar
