Makeup Talk: Winged Eyeliner for Hooded Eyes

in howto •  8 years ago

People with hooded eyes have it harder when it comes to eye makeup. But I found an easy way to quickly draw a winged eyeliner on normal& hooded eyes and I’m going to show it to you step by step.

These different points will help you understand what I’m doing.

First of all: look straight into your mirror. Don’t move your head up or close your eyes. Always keep your eyes open! If not, you won’t see the different points.

Step 1: Connect point A and B with a thin line. Start at point A. This is where you can choose the length and the angle of your wing.

Step 2: Draw a line from A to D while crossing C. C is the point where your hood ends. If you draw over point C, you won’t see the line anymore and you won’t get that nice wave.

Step 3: Connect point D and E with a very thin line. Stay as close to your lash line as possible. If you want to have a thicker line, make sure that you can still see a bit of your eyelid. Because if you can't see your eyelid, you will look like a panda.

That’s already it! Easy, isn’t it?
This is what it looks like in the end.
