Decorate your own home with a few easy steps! ( With step by step pictures)

Are you bored today? Or maybe you are bored with the art you have hanging on your wall?
With a few easy steps and cheap products you create your own art and decorate your whole house!

For this project you need:
* A glue gun.
* Stirring woods for paint.
* A brush.
* Gesso Primer. ( I used ice grey)
* All kinds of decoration you like. ( Flowers, fabrics, butterflies etc)

^^ This is my end result. Lets see how I made it step by step! 

1) heat up your glue gun while you pick the stirring woods and think about how you want to build it up. Try to pick the best woods from the pack. My pack came with different size of sticks. I use two bigger sticks for the side and the smaller ones for the rest. 

2) I wanted to make a ladder.
Before I started to use the hot glue I made sure I had the best sticks and decided that I wanted to use double wood to make the ladder look more thick. 

3) Here you can see I used double wood in the middle!
I used just a little bit of the glue on every spot the wood touched each other.
Please be careful when you work with hot glue because it really burns your skin.
Hot glue is really strong so you don't need to use a whole lot of it. 

4) I waited about ten minutes to let the glue dry before I started to paint the wood.
You can also paint the wood before you glue them together. I used Gesso paint, a well known primer in the craft world. You can buy it in many colors and it's really cheap with always a great result.
I always let the paint dry for at least an hour!
You can use a blow dryer if you want the paint to be dry within minutes with also a great result. 

5) Now its time to collect all the decoration you like and to play around with them to see where you are going to glue them down. Make sure you try a few things before using the glue because stuck is stuck and you want the best result! 

6) Here you can see that I started to put things in place!
I used the glue gun again because I wanted to be sure the items I picked stay on their place.
With smaller objects or fabric you have to be really careful not to burn your fingers!
Put a little bit of glue on the back and push it down on the wood.
Keep decorating until you think it looks perfect! 

7) And in 6 easy steps you created your own piece of art!
Quick and easy and also very cheap!
I think I paid a total of 2 Dollar for the piece!
Why can you make this so cheap? Because most crafting supplies come in bigger packs so you can use them over and over! 

8) There is one more step! Hang it on your wall and snap a picture for us all to see!
