Chinese technology giant Huawei will release the new operating system, not only for phones and laptops, but aims to use all smart devices.
The US-China trade war, which began in March 2018 with increasing solar tariffs imported from China and customs duties on aluminum, moved into the field of technology with US President Donald Trump limiting Chinese technology companies.

Following the restrictions imposed by the US administration, parallel steps came from the giant companies of Silicon Valley. Google, as well as Intel, Broadcom, Qualcomm and US giant technology companies such as Xilinx, Huawei announced that they are suspending their relationship with products and will not provide products.

Although the US government postponed restrictions by 90 days and allowed US technology firms to temporarily do business with Huawei, it was said that Huawei would develop its own operating system to reduce its long-term dependence on Android.

At the Huawei Developer Conference 2019 held yesterday, the Chinese technology giant unveiled the world's HarmonyOS , a micro-core-based operating system designed to deliver a user experience that is compatible with all devices and scenarios .

The company will launch the new operating system as an open source platform worldwide. Huawei also aims to build an open-source community to support collaboration with developers. Huawei plans to market the new operating system first in China and then to the world.

Huawei's Consumer Electronics Group Chief Executive (CEO) Richard Yu said at a conference that users have come to a period in which they expect a holistic smart experience across all devices and scenarios. Richard Yu said:

To support this, the importance of having an advanced operating system with cross-platform capabilities is clear. HarmonyOS is completely different from Android and iOS HarmonyOS is a micro-core operating system that provides a seamless experience in all scenarios, has a reliable and secure architecture and supports seamless collaboration between devices. then it is possible to distribute them flexibly to a number of different devices. "

✓Compatible with all systems
Underlining that HarmonyOS operating system is compatible with smart devices such as smart watches, smart displays, in-car systems and smart speakers, Richard Yu said, We believe that HarmonyOS will revitalize the industry and enrich the ecosystem. We will offer a smart experience. " he said.

✓New system brings 4 different features
According to a statement from Huawei'den new operating system will bring 4 different features. According to the company, the operating system will provide an uninterrupted, collaborative experience in all scenarios with distributed architecture and distributed virtual bus technology. The high-performance IPC feature will solve low-performance problems with the Deterministic Latency Engine and high-performance Inter Process Communication (IPC).

HarmonyOS aims to simplify core functionality, implement as many system services as possible in non-core user mode, and add mutual security protection with a new micro-core design with enhanced security and low latency. The multi-device IDE plans for developers to build applications that run on multiple devices more efficiently.

Huawei also announced the roadmap for the development of HarmonyOS. HarmonyOS 1.0 will be used for the first time in smart display products starting this year. The system is expected to be available in a wider range of smart devices including wearable products, HUAWEI Vision and automobiles for the next three years.
