The high-performance IPC feature will solve low-performance problems with the Deterministic Latency Engine and high-performance Inter Process Communication (IPC).
HarmonyOS aims to simplify core functionality, implement as many system services as possible in non-core user mode, and add mutual security protection with a new micro-core design with enhanced security and low latency. The multi-device IDE plans for developers to build applications that run on multiple devices more efficiently.
Huawei also announced the roadmap for the development of HarmonyOS. HarmonyOS 1.0 will be used for the first time in smart display products starting this year. The system is expected to be available in a wider range of smart devices including wearable products, HUAWEI Vision and automobiles for the next three years.
