Huawei has announced an $ 81 million investment for the digital ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
The announcement comes from the fourth anniversary of Hoover of Asia-Pacific Innovation Day in Thailand's capital Bangkok. Huawei Technologies and Thailand's Ministry of Science and Technology jointly organized this event. The theme of this year's event was 'new innovation for the digital Asia-Pacific region'.

Thai deputy prime minister Samakid gave the keynote speech at the Jatusaripitak program. In the speech, he presented the 'Going Digital' strategy of Thailand. He renewed the Thai government's commitment to creating a favorable environment for digital inclusion in Thailand and stressed Huawei's role as a facilitator for the development of the country's ICT sector. He said, 'I would like to see deeper relations between Thailand government and Huawei.
Huawei's Rotating Chairman Guo Ping highlighted the importance of the digital ecosystem: "Many countries in the Asia-Pacific region have started the digital transformation in the economy. But the growth is not so visible. As a result, the gap between the developed and developing economies of the country is being created day by day. We see the emergence of a Matthew influence, where countries with advanced economies benefit more from their infrastructure than the less developed countries. However, we want to work jointly to build digital process.
Huawei Southeast Asia Region President James Wu unveils Huawei's 'Developer Analysis Plan' for this region.
According to this plan, Huawei will invest $ 81 million to create 'OpenLabs' in the next three years, which will make cloud developers skilled and hope to build ICT talent in Southeast Asia.

Through APIs and development platforms, we will unveil our skills to our regional development partners. Also announced that James Wu 'Huawei Developer Challenge 2018', which will be officially launched on June 11. Huawei will organize a special competition in south-east Asia to provide instructions to local developers. In addition, Huawei will sponsor Huawei's innovators, and if they meet the requirements, then there will be prizes of up to 150,000 US dollars.
