Morphic Resonance.

I read Sheldrake’s first book The Presence of The Past when it first came out. It seemed obviously true. I was surprised and disappointed that the thesis, so easily testable given the guidance of Sheldrake in the book about how to test it, was ignored.

Adding an understanding of morphia resonance should have been a cultural upgrade we would make if we humans were going to avoid extinction.

One very obvious implication of the theory of morphia resonance is that now we have so many obese people, the morph of fields around humans will make it easier and easier to become obese.

We also have evidence of this: lab animals of the same kind on the same diet that become increasingly obese.

Obesity is the harbinger of sterility, and falling Total Fertility Rate is the harbinger of human extinction.

If moronic resonance is real, then each person who becomes morbidly obese not only stretches his or her own abdominal skin, but also increases the probability of future obesity and sterility.

This is why it’s illogical to normalize or glamorize Lizzo size.

You can argue, but I never see the argument that normalizing obesity increases the odds of human survival as a species and that’s the topic.
