What is it?

As the name implies it’s selective.

It’s selective on race, religion, gender etc... the usual biases and actually everyone does it, even minorities!

You might be shocked to hear this (or not) but selective human rights has been going for some time now and really good example of that would be Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

To go further into detail

This war has been going since Israeli was drawn up on a map and given a land, not by the Palestinians, but by the British empire who had no legitimate rights over the land (colonial rights don’t count).

Then through series of war and destruction, Israel is now one of the most powerful countries whilst Palestinians are living in poverty and constant bombing raids.

However, the mainstream media gets touchy whenever Israel’s name is mentioned in something conspicuous such as illhan Omar calling out Israeli financial influence over congress.

But when it comes to Palestinians, man oh man!

The people who die in double digits everyday, who have cripples, women and children fighting for them are sending bombs and rockets over to Israel.

Selective human rights, when hypocrisy mixes with morality.
