Surviving AI.

It's interesting to think about innovations over the years that transformed society in an instant, yet we have always survived them.

There are claims that whaling was the largest industry in 1903, but disappeared seemingly overnight.

Just like lamp lighters disappeared when electric street lights were invented.

I know so many think that huge swaths of humanity won't be employed once AI becomes pervasive.

I like Naval Ravikant's take on it that proposing solutions like Universal Basic Income to compensate for the mass unemployment caused by AI is a "non-solution to a non-problem."

I know that AI will do more than we ever imagined, but I think humanity will continue to evolve like it always has.
