Howdy today sir Jerry! I agree and that's why I watch the local and national news too. Usually just watch the first 10 minutes or so of national news to see if anything major has happened and then the local for the reasons you mentioned.

We also are on a local email group that is for just our part of the county and people get on there and talk about things happening in the neighborhood like any theft going on or lost pets or flooded roads, etc.

Yeah the impeachment trial just demonstrates that congress is the very best at wasting time and money!

      lol..well, I know politics is necessary because that's the only way to get things done but man, what a nasty business! I hate the business of politics.
