If you are not doing something for the benefit of the world then why do it? Sure when u are 14-15 you are going to have to get a gig that you don’t like, we know this. But the thing is your gig and your actions should always reflect how you are going to contribute to humanity.
Working for a faceless corporation is fine as long as that corporation's net results in humanity are positive. If you don’t work for a company that helps the world, it’s time to wake up and stop selling your soul. Human beings are put here to help one another and even compete with one another, but we are never to profit via another’s peril.
Just take an honest look at what you do and try to find meaning in it... if you can’t, then maybe you can start something else on the side to eventually replace it. But ultimately we have to find our way ethically through this system... and find a way to bring our human individuality to the forefront of our vocational existence!
