The Allocation of Foods to 100 Underprivileged kids (18 June, 2017)

in humanity •  6 years ago  (edited)

Dear steemians,

Last year we had a great day on 18 June 2017. Today, facebook reminded me the memorable day for me and I found some old pictures to share with you. It was Sunday afternoon when we allocated the foods in different slums. The days will not be hidden and memory will not be forgotten as I am sharing it here on Steemit.

The picture was taken by me in front of our house when some children came to our home to get their Ifter. We have a lot of children in our community who don't get nutrituous foods at home. We had planned to feed them before EID and during the Ramadhan.

We were preparing foods at home. Two of my friends joined with me to prepare and distribute the foods. We later went to @SchooolForSDG4 to allocate the foods to our school kids. You might know that @SchoolForSDG4 arrange foods for slums kids once in a month for last 3 months with help of steemit community support.

After completing the allocation program at home, we went to @schoolforsdg4. In the above picture, I am allocating food to Zuma. She is one of our kids at @SchoolForSDG4. He comes from a slum near to @SchoolForSDG4.

Later, we took some packets of foods to allocate in slums area. As we had some packets extra to allocate on street, we decided to share these with slums or kids who are playing or not much cared by parents. Zumka is one of the kids. Her mother act like metal patient and lives below poverty. Zuka doesn't go school. I find here often on street.

Here is a kid I found at a slum. He seems not physically fit. I don't much about him. But I was requested to give him the packets.

I was allocating the foods to random kids on street. I found Ema on street. She was 1 year at @SchoolForSDG4. Her parents were able to manage and admit her in a govt. school.

I really do believe in paying it forward especially when it comes to innocent children, they in fact are our future as much as that sounds like a cliche, they are the future doctors, entrepreneurs, artists, mothers and especially when they are under privileged it really breaks my heart as they lack the resources and the opportunities to follow their dreams. Although no one should ever stop dreaming, I find in poor communities the dream of becoming a princess is not in these little girls hearts, they rather dream of having a full belly and a warm place to sleep. It is incredibly heartbreaking but I am really proud of you and your team for finding these children and feeding them, I assure you it meant everything to them! Continue to spread love and joy!

Thank you for your comment. I trust the foods allocation like these will only feed them few days or weeks only. But I try to allocate such foods once in a month. Thus, I keep educating them through steemit funded charity school @SchoolForSDG4 and their mothers are getting free training of sewing, crafts works and so on from @womenempowerment . I got some orders from steemit too and soon these will be sent to USA. Changing lives and being part of is makes me proud as always. Also I feel very happy to be here and invite thousands of steemians from differnet corner of the world to bring positive changes in my community.

It is incredibly powerful the effect humans can have on one another when they are empathetic and compassionate, never stop being who you are! <3

Great thinking...

You are doing great job for our society. We have only one address this is human being. You are working for human being, that's enough. Carry on brother and best wishes for you and your team.
