Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
The world preaches high mindedness and high self esteem, which has kept people in the bondage of pride. The quest for recognition and a feeling of importance rubs many of the presence of God which can only be accessed through humility of the heart. A lot of activities going on, carried out by people seeking man's glory and applause. Many has derailed because they took stupid decisions to feel important in the society.
Brethren, God is against the quest for vain glory. Let us go back to God for His approval and recognition, for every vain glory shall fail.
Let us esteem others better than us, according to the scripture. This is not low self-esteem, but biblical truth that guarantees Divine promotion. God has never blessed or will ever bless a man that feels he's better than others.
Are you a victim of pride? Come back to God in humility and choose to think highly of others, so shall you be lifted. Pride will never take anyone higher than he's today.

Abba Father, thank you for making us yours forever. We acknowledge that without you and others around us we are nothing. Please put in us a humble and contrite spirit, in Jesus name. Amen.
