What better reason to celebrate a day than to just enjoy being alive?

My good cat friend @novaatebatman stopped by the Steemit Diner the other day to place an order for my best cheesecake. When I asked if he was celebrating anything special he told me that a cheesecake was symbolic to he and his husband. Every year on November 26th they eat cheesecake that they fondly call "holy shit I'm alive" cake to celebrate the 13 years they've been together and the fact that they are alive to live another day.

@novaatebatman shared some stories about himself and his life as we discussed different cheesecake flavors to find the perfect one. I got to learn more about my Maine Coon cat friend as we sat in a booth at the Steemit Diner.

Of course talking and tasting are different experiences and I knew I needed to make a cheesecake in every flavor imaginable.

Now Marx the rabbit is a HUGE fan of cheesecake! New York Style, pumpkin, chocolate...any flavor of cheesecake, this rabbit will devour it!

I wanted to give @novaatebatman a wonderful selection of cheesecakes to pick from so I decided to cook every flavor I could think of. I started off with the traditional New York Style. Then, I got fancy and started mixing in flavors. Pumpkin Cheesecake is amazing and my second favorite flavor. Of course I made a chocolate cheesecake....I mean....you can't not have chocolate!!! I made s'mores, banana pudding, cookies and cream, snickerdoodle, and tiramisu cheesecakes!

I made so many cheesecakes, I had enough slices for every citizen of Steemit City to come have a few.

Anyone want a slice?

I'm happy that I met you here in Steemit City and that we've had so many great conversations. I will eat a piece of cheesecake myself today to celebrate all the good friends I've met here.

I'll take a pumpkin cheese cake to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. She loves pumpkin just like her Daddy and Grandma.

I make a great pumpkin cheesecake. Here's two slices! I've got plenty.

Oh yes. Cheesecake freezes wonderfully. I put you a few slices in the deep freezer for whenever you want them. :)

It's a nice idea. We could all have our little anniversaries and just celebrate everything. That would make for a better life, wouldn't it?

That's what my husband and I do. Our life is full of little anniversaries. It helps with getting through life.

I know. Everyone needs their own special days to celebrate significant moments. My husband and I celebrate the anniversary of our first date on April 18th. We celebrate his cats birthday on Halloween. We all have special moments.

This post inspires me to attend the Cheesecake Factory and consume everything that will cause a heart attack one day.
