I think they will work where ever they are located. So outside is okay too, as far as I can see. Keep them dry, part of the trap is paper, ROFLOL!

          Nope what you catch is a function of the bait used. Use old fruit, you get fruit flies, I used a dead onion, got Lots of regular flies.

              A Little hard to unload though, what ever you do seems to ruin the paper funnel. I figured it out though. Just put it in the freezer, and flush the frozen ones before they recover!
