Bots kind of defeat the purpose of Steemit... It was supposed to be a way to get paid for quality content. If this goes on, the price will drop.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    bots have turned black hat gaming the system into a mainstream accepted practice....abouttoexplode.jpg

    But the reality is it essentially turning SteamIt into a spin zone of garbage for people mostly promoting cryptocurrency.
