The Body Still Needs Food

in hunger •  last year
Hunger is a condition in which the body still needs food, usually when the stomach has been empty either intentionally or unintentionally for quite a long time. Hunger is an extreme form of normal appetite. Hunger can be caused by things other than illness. Examples include infrequent eating, lack of access to food, diet, growth spurt, or strenuous activity. Throughout history, famines have only been caused by crop failures, natural disasters, pest invasions and human-to-human conflicts. The main factor causing hunger is the economic level which is still low. The causes of these conditions include food distribution difficulties, the impact of climate change, natural disasters, social conflicts, and wars. To determine the status of the food crisis, the central and local governments must review it according to the scale of the crisis. An area can be said to be poor when the components of the community in it cannot meet basic needs, namely clothing, food, and housing. Then they cannot get good education and health services. Factors that affect the quality of food products include taste, aroma, consistency, freshness, appearance, maturity and variety of food.
