Happy And Humane Hunting!

# I read a truly wonderful post by @breezin this morning.

https://steemit.com/nature/@breezin/hunting-is-more-than-just-a-sporting-skill

I have thought about this issue of hunting before.

What I like most about this post is that you go beyond the obvious fact that vegans are opposed to hunting.

I shot a Springbok once and I don't think much of the meat could be used because it was not a headshot.

So in that sense it might be better for a professional hunter to do the job.

But then again give me some practice and a good gun and I can do it too.

The gun I used was a 60 year old Remington with a manual scope.

The range was about a hundred meters. Now that I think about it, it wasn't too bad a shot.

Another thing I want to mention is that a free roaming animal being shot in the head is a relatively painless death.

Compared to being kept in a confined space and dying from some other artificial method.

Building My Empire on steemit is so much fun. I like writing and now I get paid for it. I just love love love this platform.

When I bought my first steem at 1.10 USD, I didn't think it would go up this fast.

General Omar of the US Army said it best: "Professionals talk logistics, Amateurs talk strategy." Psychology is logistics - how you think results in fundamental changes in behaviour which then gives you the results you want.

Greetings, man. I do not like to hunt, but in relation to steemit, I totally agree with you. I love reading and writing. Here I can learn a lot about subjects of my interest by reading what people post. Also, I can write my opinion about what I study and I am still slightly paid for it !!!
Thank you and good morning!!

Thank you for your wonderful comment! Why don't you like to hunt?

Ahhh, I'd feel terrible about hurting animals. I think everyone has their place in the world. Only ones I do not like are cockroaches !!!!

Why don't you like cockroaches? LOL!

a fun adventure @pjcswart .

As long as people are hunting at overpopulated animals, in a way that these animals don't suffer when killed, I'm okay with it. I wouldn't be able to call in a "sport" per sé though... That implies that people really enjoy killing animals. I rather call it a hobby, where the hunters show respect for the animal and think very clearly about what they're doing and with what reason they're doing it.

Thank you for your wonderful comment!
