CORRUPTION AT ITS PEAK...

Hello Steemians I'm a bit heavy hearted right now with all the corruption going on in my county Nigeria right now. Nigeria is a developing country but it doesn't look like one to me with the non stop corruption for years now.

• EDUCATION:
  Education in Nigeria is far behind without any form of proper investment by the government. Students who score high in jamb and post utme are robbed of their scores and given to some other person who has paued a huge amount of money. I did talk excessively about Education in my previous post.

• MONEY EMBEZZLEMENT:
  I actually heard a very annoying statement made by someone who is in charge of keeping cash in JAMB (Joint Admission Matriculation Board) office saying that the 36 million that went missing all of a sudden was swallowed by a snake, really " A snake "? Oh my world. Whenever money goes missing in Nigeria its either they lie about the whereabout of it or use something stupid or funny to cover it up. Politicians steal money using their position in office to cover their acts.

I ain't criticizing my country but even My President isn't helping matters, some girls were abducted (dapchi girls) he didn't go to see the situation over there. Even The endless massacre by Fulani herdsmen hasn't been given full attention and My president doesn't wanna address the matter and I wonder why but he went to the wedding ceremony of the kids of two governors of Nigeria.

• EMPLOYMENT:
  Finishing school is now a big deal i Nigerian due to both internal and external strike. Even if one graduates with a good grade, its so difficult to get a good job because the people in charge of recruiting workers give the opportunities to their family members or friends they've known for donkey of years even people with very low grade in school leaving people with good grades with no feedback after interview. Its all about connection(Man-know-Man) this days when it comes to job seeking which has made young Nigerians' get their mind off school with the idea that they may not even get a good job after years of funding for their education.
