Multi-core Fiber Subassemblies for Next-gen Connectivity
With the development of 5G, AIGC, Cloud Computing, the demand for optical fiber transmission capacity is also increasing. The fiber capacity is reaching its limitation due to the Nonlinear Shannon Limit. Multi-core optical fiber with Space Division Multiplexing (SDM) technology is expected to become the best choice to break through the limit.

With capabilities in free-space optics design and mature precision coupling, HYC has developed Multi-core Fiber-based series subassemblies:

  1. 4CH/7CH/8CH multi-core fiber LC type/FC type fiber optic connector to solve the problem of difficult on-site splicing of MCF connection;
  2. MCF FIFO(Fan-in & Fan-out) efficiently couples light from single-core fiber (SCF) into each Multi-core fiber (MCF) or the opposite direction;
  3. MCF Hybrid subassemblies used for the future EDFA system.

Connectivity Solutions for AI Data Center
As large AI models rapidly evolve, AI data centers increasingly demand higher density, faster speeds, and lower latency in network transmission and connectivity. Against this backdrop, the demand for MPO/MTP solutions has significantly increased, with rapid iteration in speeds from 400G to 800G, and 800G to 1.6T.

FA with isolator/lens array used for silicon photonics modules
Leveraging our advanced capabilities in optical design & simulation, back-end processing, and free-space optical design & coupling, HYC offers a range of high-precision fiber array (FA) products used for high-speed optical module parallel transmission solutions. We also custom design and process various optical subassemblies based on customer requirements, such as FA+Isolator and FA+Lens, which are widely used in 400G/800G silicon photonics high-speed optical modules. The main process is to attach the isolator to the FA fiber end face, making the optical path irreversible, the return loss can reach more than 32dB, and the product performance meets the reliability GR1221 & 168H PCT, and the shear force meets the MIL-STD-883G standard.
