On April 11, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow arrested Dmitry Pavlov, who is called the administrator of the Hydra darknet marketplace.
In Russia, Pavlov is accused of illegal drug trafficking on a particularly large scale.
The court decision on detention has not yet entered into force.
In case of proof of guilt, Pavlov faces from 15 to 20 years in prison.
Recall that in early April, the court of the Northern District of California in absentia brought charges against Dmitry Pavlov for administering Hydra, providing hosting services to it, conspiracy to launder money and distribute drugs.
The Russian himself then said that the American authorities did not contact him, and he learned about the charges from a BBC journalist.
Earlier, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on Hydra, and the German police confiscated the marketplace servers and seized 543 BTC.
