Hydrogen introduces another security major in order to fight against hackers which is hydrogen API keys. Api key is an application programming interface keys (API key), is a code passed by computer programmes to identify the calling program, its development or it's user to the website. The API key often acts as both a unique identifier and a secret token for authentication and will generally have a set of access rights on the API associated with it. It also enhances security through the use of uniquws public authentication modules and deploys a technology called Raindrop, a server that facilitate transaction through smart contract and validates private system access. All the hydrogen API partners must have the API of their various environment which is provided by hydrogen. So this means that any effort to validate an unknown API is completly rejected immediately. So the API are available for enterprise and developers to build ,test and deploy sophisticated financial technology and products .

             KEY SOFTWARES

The hydro's API keys provide to customers its block chain based authentication services which is Raindrop. This is built on the hydro public ledger and offers customers immutable layer of security that verifies access requests and ensure they originate from an authorization source.It ensure they make use of private authentication protocols such as OATH v² and JWT to provide a high level of robustness and usability. The platform incorporate block chain mechanics as commonest of its authentication procedure. This method or software also adds additional layer of security and minimizes the risks of system breaches and data compromise. The authentication protocol depends on the partners environment and familiarity with each type of authentication,because when a decision is made the authentication type needs to be passed as an environment variable at the launch of hydrogen platform. With the helps of Raindrops verification protocol,hydro cab define a transaction which is user must execute from a know wallet. The system and the accessor can monitor authorization attempts on an immutable public ledger when using Raindrops.

            INITIALIZATION PROCESS

The hydro authentication process involves four parties that works simuitaeoulsy which includes

(1)ACCESSOR-: It access the system or any DApp with the use of hydrogen APIs within its core digital infrastructure .

(2)SYSTEM:- gateway used by accessor to utilize the native hydro API.

(3) HYDRO:- it utilizes the system to communicate and interface with the blockchian.

(4)BLOCKCHAIN:-distribute public ledger that processes and facilitate all internal hydrogen transaction and it also contains smart contract.

        VALIDATION PROCESS

The accessor request access to the system through the established mechanism. The hydro platform automatically interfaces with pre-existing native smart contracts,checks the validity of all transactions and responds with a true or false accordingly. With hydro,authentication is based on transactional operations on the ethereum blockchain. API users are validated by initiating particular transactions with particular data payloads between particular addresses.

            HYDRO IMPLEMENTATION

Hydrogen has implemented their own authentication system which is OATH v² and hydro's Raindrop servers. If a user registers an ethereum address by sending a command known as getting request, it provides an ethereum address, the server will then send that request to hydro API along with hydrogen's username and the API key. If both are validated the address is then received into the system and after executing some commands, the transaction is then completed.
