Hyperloot — a review by a Crypto noob :)

I have recently researched ‘Hyperloot’ (why did I not know of them sooner?!) Hyperloot is a new platform and is a way to create openly tradeable in-game items that are forever-valuable and belong to the gamer.

The Hyperloot team have extensive experience with gaming and gambling and believe that the industry needs more healthy ways to monetize games and work with the community; I 100% agree!!! Sounds far fetched? Read on……………..

But why Hyperloot? Aren’t there other Blockchain gaming products? Hyperloot is designed to be adopted by any game. Yes, even the one that exists already. On the other side, Hyperloot is:

Not a trading solution, it is a tokenization protocol for in-game items. That means anyone can issue crypto-backed assets and utilize them infinitely, not just securely trade existing assets tied to a token within some blockchain system. It is all based on a backend that can issue tokens according to the stake and the items. You can trade them as well, but that’s just the part of it.
Is a universal solution that can be merged with other tokens. That is aimed at creating a unified profit pool and a peer-to-peer marketplace.
Hyperloot token is not used for trading, it is used for staking, clearing, settlement and custody.
There is no pre-mine, no ICO, and no promises to make trade possible sometime, requiring X million dollars while changing nothing on the market. Hyperloot are here to make private property of in-game items a reality with a working product.
Overall, with the lootboxes declared to be gambling and third-party trading being “sanctioned” by Valve there’s more and more power in the hands of publishers (think EA and Battlefront 2) and no relation to gamer needs. You can always think of how we went from being outraged with Horse armor for oblivion as paid DLC to completely succumbing to season passes and extremely expensive cosmetic items (think USD 2,5 keys for all locked crates in PUBG). Hyperloot is a solution.

Having reviewed the teams whitepaper, asked questions via Telegram etc, I can see that the team has a vast amount of experience. Hyperloot are empowering people — like you — to build the future. Their mission is one of inclusion, collaboration and progress, and to make sure no one gets left behind.
