The second phase of the high-speed transmission test has been completed. HyperLoopOne has announced the success of the XP-1 capsule test after achieving a record speed of 310 km / h.
"It is the beginning and the dawn of a new era of transport," said Shervin Peshivar, co-founder of HyperLoopOne in a statement released on Wednesday (August 2nd).
"We have reached historic speeds of 310 kilometers per hour, and we are excited to see the XP-1 inside the HyperLoopOne tube, which you feel When you hear his voice, you hear the voice of the future. "
All components of the system have been tested successfully, including high-efficiency electric motors, control system, electricity, magnet and all electronic systems.
The HyperLoopOne project aims to transport passengers and goods through capsules that are gradually accelerated by electric drive inside the low pressure tube.
The company revealed that the rise of "XP-1" is 8.7 meters, and 2.7 meters long and 2.4 meters wide, which makes it narrower compared to subway cars in New York City, for example.
"We have proven that this technology works well, and we are now ready to engage in discussions with partners, customers and governments around the world on the marketing of HyperLop technology," said Bischfar.
The first phase of the test was conducted on May 12 in the DevLoop course in the desert of Nevada.
