To Be Silent or to introduce myself?

Per @gmuxx suggestion I will introduce myself to the steem world.

Hello!

I am a family oriented person living in the United States. I work within the financial services industry. I deeply believe that voluntarism is the only hope for humanity.

My interest in steemit came accidentally when I discover a D.tube of someone I follow, which took me to steemit. For almost a decade now I've been following various activist that use youtube as their primary source to disseminate information that the corporate media refuses to publish because it hurts either friends within government or paid sponsors or both. I have said for so long I wish there was a decentralized platform for these great publishers, journalist and activists to use that didn't support the exact interest they are working against. This is why I am so happy have found steemit, D.tube and the people that use it.

I think I will be using this platform to follow more people as they transfer our of the traditional distribution channels. I may also write some random musing that I come up as my mind rarely shuts down. The topics will most likely be about voluntarism, an insiders view of the finance world and the struggle between technology and interpersonal relations.
