Bear swings with all his might. His opponent attempts to block but both he and his crappy sword are cleaved in two.
The onlookers who gathered to witness this drawn out battle are shocked to see an angel embrace this large scruffy man.
Victory! (Finally) Needed 3, Final attack 10+1-1=10
🚩 🚩 🚩 STOP! ROLLING BACK... 🚩 🚩 🚩
Here's the problem: You forgot the rule that any time you face off against a Gobbo in combat, you have to use your strong/risky attack against that Gobbo.
There are two ways I could rule on how to resolve this. The hard way would be to make you take four 50/50 shots by re-rolling all the Gobbos and subtracting the number of losses from the 2 life points you would otherwise have because you played through. Mathematically that's really bad for your chances and more work for me than I can be bothered with considering the alternative...
So I'll give you the easy way out. I'm hitting the rewind button and rolling you back to just after the first Gobbo appeared (all rolls and actions you made on this stage after that point are now null and void).
So here's where you stand right now: 3 life points, lucky item (good for +1 to all your combat rolls in this tournament) is active, facing your first Gobbo of the stage. It doesn't matter what Gobbo rolled because a successful strong attack will beat him. Win or lose against this Gobbo, you may then proceed to take on the stage foe as normal.

All these years, all the practice, all the sweat and pain have been leading up to this.....moment of perfection. You lean back, let the calm become one with you and seem to rest....then you swiftly jab. Your moves are so fast, the enemy does not see you coming...and so powerful, you deliver a devastating hit of 6 points. Teach us your ways, Senpai.
