Pretty happy this code is working as intended. It's much more advanced and has some... challenges.

I'll keep working on it and do a tougher test next time, i.e. try a non registered player and also look at life point memory code. For it to work items and life points will need to cross stages..So in IBT#6 we might issue all life points in advance and have the bot count down type thing. This means players will have to complete every stage or can't move on, if they die 3 times they cut into the next stage life points type thing, and so on until all life points are burned. In this sense some players may be eliminated before even making the boss round.

Just thinking off the top of my head here...

  • Life point memory via bot would unfortunately eliminate the optional stage and all the possible mini-games that could be used to keep things fresh.
  • If you want to have the bot handle life points, there's another approach to consider regarding combat... issue all life points in advance like before, but instead of the current combat system, have it be just one roll per person per stage. If the player meets the required number, no penalty and they get a piece of the stage's prize pool. If they fail, deduct 1 life for every point they came up short (in the case of a failed strong attack, that's treated as player rolling a zero).
