It's my two cents that we should proceed with caution before investing too much faith in the story.

If I'm reading the report correctly, we are hearing about it from someone who heard about it, from someone who heard about it. Unless I've misread, the whistle-blower has not heard of any of these "forced hysterectomies" from victims; instead she heard it from someone that claims to have heard it from others.

The report could well be true, and it's absolutely worth investigating. If it's found to be true, then the perpetrators belong in prison.

But I think we should all be careful before investing too much "fact" into a claim that is, at this point, largely speculative.

I think one thing that bothers me so much about ICE, (and Homeland in general), is the lack of transparency. You can go and see all of the tax court cases and even communications between IRS Chief Counsel, and statements to private individuals in letter rulings by the IRS. But when I look for something similar with ICE (or Homeland), I find nothing.
