The Reynisfjara black sand beach is a free destination in Iceland that is not to be missed. Whether you're on an extended journey or a short trip, this beautiful tourist hot spot is a short distance away from the main city Reykjavik. You can easily take a tour bus or go for the cheaper option, renting your own car, and it'll be about a 2-3 hour journey to get there. Located in the southern part of Iceland near the towns Vik & Myrdal, there are plenty of Air BnB's close by or lodgings and it's easily accessible from the Ring Road. Best of all it's FREE. Yup. Totally free to visit. All you have to pay for is the cost of getting there.
Here a video tutorial of Reynisfjara with some helpful tips for newbies.
Thanks for watching. I hope these tips will be of assistance when you visit Iceland.
