CEA hydroponic is excellent for high value crop like Ice Plants, an edible succulent. Its growth slows as temperature increases, and the leaves wither and the ice plant acquires an acidic taste.
In soil cultivation of the ice plant, the ice plant sucks up heavy metals (cadmium, etc.) thus best to grow in CEA.
