Goofy is a kind of tropical fish and is the first to be found in a local stream.

Local residents and others say that in the Jukdangcheon Stream in Bubal-eup, there is a tropical crested fish, which is believed to have been discharged due to the cooling water from nearby cogeneration plants during the year.

Males and females are 3 centimeters and 6 centimeters respectively. It takes 8 weeks for males to grow up and 10 to 20 weeks for females. They are said to be able to reproduce up to 150 babies at a time and can last up to three generations a year. It varies slightly depending on the variety, but it lives about two years in the wild.

I caught a Goofy in the stream for 40 minutes and it was filled with a huge basket.
On the weekend, many people gathered to catch the Goofy.

Although the discovery of Goofy is rare, it should not be possible to release exotic fish into the stream to protect native fish.
